WTT is a little confusing about selection ....


The olympic medalists are automatically selected as the USA representative in the world championships provided they choose to go. My confusion is related to whether they even have WTT for weights where the olympic medalist is already selected? I read the criteria and it wasn't clear. I would guess they still have them to establish the #2 guy in case the #1 guy gets hurt or is sick?
